The test bearing is mounted on a hub, and rotated by an electric motor and toothed belt at 600 rev/min. A peristaltic pump draws water from the water tank, through a filter, and sprays it, via a 1mm capillary, onto the face of the bearing at a flow rate of 300ml/min. The water and any washed out grease is collected in the water tank, filtered and recycled. The rotational speed of the bearing and water flow rate are adjustable from the front panel, and the water temperature is digitally controlled in the range of ambient to 80°C.

SUPPLIED WITH: a test bearing for laboratory commissioning and manual.
