The filling station is now clamped in position with a new securing ring. The securing ring has an o ring and will prevent any sample running down into the analyser. Any spills can be wiped from the stainless steel top of the JETVISC. The securing ring also inhibits removal of the top of the JETVISC, without removing the securing ring first. The new filling station also has a d-shaped section which prevents it from turning. This will reduce wear on the interface to the viscometer. Bar code scanner![]() It is now possible to purchase a bar code scanner with the JETVISC to scan in the sample ID straight to the Sample ID box. This is a simple USB device which simply plugs in the front of the JETVISC.
