Two brass pots are secured to a heavy cast aluminum base by dowel pins and quick release cams. Each pot contains a Worker Plate attached to a plunger. The plungers are fitted with long-life seals, and pass through the screw-on lid of the pot. The lid contains a large bore cock for the insertion of a thermometer and to allow excess grease to escape during assembly. The plungers are driven by a geared 1/2 hp electric motor at 60 strokes per minute ± 10. An automatic counter stops the worker after a preset number of strokes up to a maximum of 100,000. The safety guard incorporates a motor cut-off switch.

SUPPLIED WITH: two Worker Plates (Seta 17800-001) with 51 x 1/4 in diameter holes, complete with lid and housing assembly and two pots. Two Churn Plates (Seta 17800-002) with 270 x 1/16 in diameter holes, can be supplied as an alternative to 17800-001.

Large bore cock for thermometer insertion

Comprises a heavy brass grease pot with screw lid.  A plunger passes through the lid and is attached to a perforated metal worker plate. The top of the plunger has a sturdy handle for easy operation.  Long life seals prevent grease extruding past the plunger during operation. The pot is equipped with a large bore cock to allow the insertion of a thermometer.
