Testing Biodiesel

ASTM D6751 is the specification for B100 Biodiesel.  

To certify a fuel as meeting ASTM D6751, certain properties of the fuel must meet certain limits.  The methodology for testing these properties are spelled out in ASTM Test Methods.  Lazar Scientific sells and services instruments for many of these methods.  We are continually searching for manufacturers who are producing less costly versions of these instruments while maintaining the integrity of the methods and generating repeatable results.  Some of these are shown below:
